The Youth World Championship 2022 organized by International Federation of Muaythai Association (IFMA) was held in Malaysia.
More than 800 fighters from 101 countries took part in the championships.
Two Sri Lankan fighters Maryam Murthasa and Bassam Murthasa, the two siblings from Mawanella also took part in the tournament.
08 year- old Bassam Murthasa is the young contestant to take part in the championship.
