The Administrator of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Samantha Power will undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka.
The US Embassy in Sri Lanka said that Samantha Power will engage in a 2-day official visit.
The Embassy further said that she will arrive in Sri Lanka on Saturday, the 10th of September 2022.
Further, the purpose of the visit is to discuss the ongoing economic crisis and strengthen the development partnership between the United States and Sri Lanka.
It is noteworthy, Samantha Power earlier visited Sri Lanka in 2015 when Mangala Samaraweera was Foreign Minister.
