Sri Lanka’s leading dental material, medical and diagnostic device supplier and dental health care provider opened its new office at No 92, Pepiliyana Road Nedimala, Dehiwala on Sunday(October 30).
This is another step in ORAM’s continued efforts to provide our customers with easy access and reach to our services.
Hon. AkilaViraj Kariyawasam, Attorney at Law and Senior Advisor to the President of Sri Lanka was the chief guest and Mr.Vikram Pratap Gaddh, Director of Kamal Encon Industries, the guest of honor.
The CEO of the Oram Global Group Mr. Mushtaq Jabir speaking at the inauguration said “Our goal is always to ensure that dentists and their patients will be able to experience a true difference when it comes to oral health and wellbeing. In a first we have also introduced new innovations in the field of dentistry to our experts in collaboration with the British Association of Dental Education. I am proud to say that we also launched the first ever Dental Awards Ceremony in Sri Lanka and established the largest Dental Laboratory in the country. We have always strived for our clients to have easy and hassle free access to our services. This is why we are opening today our new office and Oram Dental Center in this location. Our aim is to come closer to our clients”.
He went on to say that KAMAL in addition to their energy Conservation Concepts, Services and Products is also a leading cardiac stents manufacturer in India which has developed path breaking innovative coronary stents which ORAM will soon introduce in Sri Lanka in addition to the company’s dental implants.
He also mentioned that Oram’s partnership with Kamal Encon Industries will further strengthen the global presence of both the companies.
Meanwhile, the chief guest Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, Attorney at Law and Senior Advisor to the President of Sri Lanka speaking at the event said he was happy to join with ORAM team when the company marks another milestone in its journey of success. He wished ORAM success in its future efforts.
Mr.Vikram Pratap Gaddh, Director of Kamal Encon Industries, the guest of honor meanwhile noted that the partnership between ‘KAMAL’ and ‘ORAM’ will be significant when expanding the global reach of both companies. He said both companies were discussing new ventures in addition to the current ones.

The journey of ORAM started in 2002 as a medical device and diagnostic device supplier. In 2010 ORAM marked another milestone in its journey by becoming an official medical supplier to the Ministry of Health in Sri Lanka.
Also in another first ORAM introduced the world’s first breast self-examination device in Sri Lanka. 2014 was a turning point for ORAM as the company expanded the business in the field of ‘DENTAL’ as ORAM Private Limited. In the same year ORAM started its first dental education collaboration with the British Association of Dental Education (UK). In another groundbreaking effort, ORAM established the process to start ORAM Dental Company and Education Centre in India. Also from 2017 the company started launching ORAM medical centres across the island to provide a better service and easy access to customers. In another first ORAM launched the first-ever Dental Awards Ceremony in Sri Lanka and in 2020 opened the first luxury Dental Clinic in Sri Lanka. In 2021 engaging in another challenging task ORAM initiated the process to establish the largest Dental Laboratory in Sri Lanka.
