The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has taken a unanimous decision to expedite Ceylon Electricity Board’s (CEB) tariff proposal in accordance with Electricity Act 2009.
Furthermore, Chairman of the PUCSL Janaka Ratnayake further said that the PUCSL will also seek legal opinion on the implementation of the Cabinet request on an interim tariff with retrospective effect.
