The Ududumbara Police rescued 33 youths who had become lost while climbing Garadigala mountain in Ududumbara Knuckles Reserve.
Heavy rain and fog that blanketed the area yesterday, February 19 prevented the group from returning, and they subsequently contacted the police for help.
Police officers, forest protection officers, and army personnel launched an operation to locate the group.
