According to Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera, fuel delivery started this morning (March 29) at 6 a.m. at the terminals in Kolonnawa and Muthurajawela.
He said that they will continue to receive assistance from the cops and the military and that the nation has enough fuel supplies.
The minister noted in a tweet that some gas stations have reportedly not made fuel orders in anticipation of the April price adjustment.
He consequently asked the owners of the gas stations to place their purchases appropriately and keep the necessary minimum stock levels.
