Recently, a 3.7 magnitude minor tremor was detected in the seas near Beruwala’s coasts. (30 March).
Nearly 34 kilometers off Beruwala, at around 1:00 this afternoon, the tremor was detected.
Although there is no tsunami threat, the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB) has verified as much.
