The 2022 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination answer sheet evaluation activities will be decided upon in a special debate that will take place this evening, according to the Federation of University Teachers’ Association (FUTA).
Senior Prof. Charudaththe Illangasinghe, the association’s media spokesperson, suggested that the government step in to address their problem right away.
While this is going on, Joseph Stalin, the secretary of the Ceylon Teachers’ Union (CTU), emphasizes how problematic it is that the government is evaluating answer sheets for several courses without the involvement of university lecturers.
However, MP Jagath Kumara noted that the issue received particular attention during yesterday’s meeting of the ruling party.
