Tomorrow, May 11, 2023, the Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) will begin a new three-wheeler program.
A trial program will be started, according to DMT Commissioner General Nishantha Weerasinghe, to convert gasoline-powered three-wheelers to electric three-wheelers.
He said that under the trial initiative, measures will be taken to first convert 300 three-wheeled vehicles powered by gasoline.
