During his current visit to Stockholm, Sweden, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry has spoken with his Swedish colleague Tobias Billstrom about a number of issues involving the island country.

The gathering was held concurrently with the second Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum, which will be held tomorrow (May 13).

As a result, issues relating to improving trade and investment between the two countries were discussed, and perspectives on Sri Lanka’s reconciliation, economic recovery, and reforms were also exchanged, Sabry said in a post on Twitter.
Foreign Ministers from the EU and the Indo-Pacific area are anticipated to attend the 02nd Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum, which is being organized by the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU) in cooperation with the European External Action Service.
