In three locations of Sri Lanka, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) will introduce its e-Billing system in July.
The CEB sent a video message on Twitter announcing that starting on July 1, 2023, e-bills would be sent to the Dehiwala, Kelaniya, and Sri Jayawardenapura regions.
The CEB asked locals to sign up to receive their electricity bills by email or SMS.
Send an SMS to 1987 with the text REG space> A/C Number if you want to receive your power invoices through SMS.
By visiting www.ebill.ceb.lk, customers can register by email.
