According to the National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB), water service has been shut off for 16 hours in some areas of Colombo today (June 24).
Accordingly, the water cut imposed from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. affects Colombo 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.
The Ambatale Water Supply System Improvements and Energy Saving Project was responsible for the 16-hour water cut, according to the NWSDB.
