With effect starting at midnight on July 4th, Litro Gas Lanka has decided to lower the cost of residential liquefied petroleum (LP) gas cylinders.
Accordingly, the new cost of a 12.5 kilogram cylinder of LP gas will be less than Rs. 3,000, according to Muditha Peiris, chairman of the Litro Gas Company.
This will be the most recent price cut for LP gas cylinders, which has occurred four times in a row.
A price revision may be coming, according to a recent statement from the Laugfs Gas Company, but no formal announcement has been made about it as of yet.
