A request made by President Ranil Wickremesinghe for the creation of a schedule for the resurrection and launch of an agreement on the Japan-funded Light Railway Transit (LRT) project has been approved by the Cabinet.
Following consultations with the Japanese embassy in Colombo, this choice was made.
