The Ministry of Education has today announced the publication of guidelines for the entrance procedure for first-graders to public schools in the academic year 2024.
A example application form has reportedly been made available on the website www.moe.gov.lk, according to the Ministry. Parents or legal guardians must fill out the application form in accordance with the sample and instructions supplied in order to enrol their children in Grade One of Government schools for the academic year 2024.
To ensure they arrive before August 18, 2023, the completed forms should be sent by registered mail to the respective Heads of Schools.
