An Extraordinary Gazette has been published designating a special investigation unit for the effective prosecution of sports-related offenses under the Sports Act.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) W.A. Jayanath Jayasinghe was chosen by Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe to lead the inquiry unit.
