Furthermore, according to GMOA Secretary Dr. Haritha Aluthge, the Public Service Commission will be informed of the decision in question next week, and a complaint against Dr. Wijesuriya will also be filed.

Dr. Aluthge stated this during a media conference on August 24 in Colombo.

At 8:00 a.m. today (August 25), the island-wide 24-hour token strike called by the trade unions associated with five professions of Supplementary Medical Service came to an end.
