Today (04), Litro Gas Lanka, one of Sri Lanka’s two top suppliers of LP gas cylinders, is expected to announce changes to the price of domestic LP gas cylinders based on the pricing formula.
The costs of household gas cylinders, according to Litro Gas Company Chairman Muditha Peiris, are expected to go up during the subsequent price review, he said on Sunday (03).
The necessary price adjustment will be made, taking effect at midnight this evening.
The chairman of Litro Gas also emphasised that, given the rise in gas costs on the global market, there will be a large increase in gas prices this time.
