The names of the students who scored the highest on the island in the G.C.E. Advanced Level exam in 2022/2023 have been made public.
As a result, Maneth Banula Perera of Royal College in Colombo won top place on the island in the physical science stream, while Pramodhi Bhashani Munasinghe of Sujatha Vidyalaya in Matara won first place in the biological science stream.
The best marks on the island were earned by Kavidini Dilsarani Tharushika of Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya in Colombo in the Commerce stream.
The first student on the island in the Engineering Technology programme is Samuditha Nayanapriya of Richmond College in Galle.
