The Attorney General has given the necessary approval for the Cybersecurity Bill as it has been drafted by the legal draughtsman.
In an effort to protect society from the dissemination of misleading information and other dangerous manipulations they might be exposed to online, the appropriate Bill was introduced.
As a result, the Cabinet of Ministers agreed to the proposal put out by Minister of Public Security Tiran Alles to publish the Bill through a gazette notification and then propose it for parliamentary approval at a meeting held on Monday (04 September).
