President Ranil Wickremesinghe published the “Defence Review – 2030” to reaffirm Sri Lanka’s commitment to defending its independence and territorial integrity.
The document, according to the President’s Media Division (PMD), charts the future direction of Sri Lanka’s defence strategy while outlining the changing security environment in the Indian Ocean region.
At the most recent Cabinet meeting, the President suggested the Defence Review – 2030.
