The Domestic Debt Optimisation (DDO) programme has received a proposal from the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) to exchange their portfolio of Treasury Bonds, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) announced today (13 September).
As a result, the EPF informed its members that it had submitted an offer to exchange the EPF’s portfolio of Treasury Bonds under the DDO programme as a qualified participant, with the Monetary Board of CBSL’s approval, in response to the Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilisation, and National Policies’ invitation, as a result of a resolution adopted by Parliament in this regard.
