Passengers inconvenienced as two SriLankan Airlines flights cancelled

Due to technical difficulties, two SriLankan Airlines planes scheduled for Nepal and India this morning (Oct. 01) had to be canceled, causing hundreds of passengers much inconvenience.

The aircraft UL 181, which was due to depart for Kathmandu, Nepal, at 8:20 a.m. today with 200 passengers onboard, was delayed in this way for a number of hours until it was revealed that a technical issue had occurred.

But this morning, another flight with a destination of Mumbai, India, had also been canceled because of an aircraft technical problem.
