Three food items have seen price increases in response to the recent increase in petrol prices.
During a press conference held today, Harshana Rukshan, president of the All Island Canteen and Restaurant Owners’ Association, made the announcement.
As a result, the cost of the following foods has increased:
Plain tea – Increased by Rs. 10
Koththu Rotti – Increased by Rs. 20
Rice packet – Increased by Rs. 50
Harshana Rukshan further said the price hike is effective from today (Oct 05).
