Due to errors in the estimates included in the Ceylon Electricity Board’s tariff filing, the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has asked the CEB to submit a revised tariff proposal.
The PUCSL pointed out variations from the projections stated with reference to the rise in demand, depleted hydro, and coal dispatch in a letter to the CEB.
Prior to Wednesday, October 18, 2023, the PUCSL has asked the CEB to submit the updated tariff proposal with proper data.
