Due to a scarcity of railway guards, some office trains scheduled for today evening (30) will be cancelled, according to Sri Lanka Railways.
The department declared that since some railway guards have not reported to work since this morning, the relevant trains will have to be cancelled.
The Department of Railways reported that as a result, 12 trains, including office trains, that were supposed to run this morning and this evening have been cancelled thus far.
