Today, the Court of Appeal denied a writ case that was filed contesting State Minister of Tourism Diana Gamage’s parliamentary seat.

The Court of Appeal rejected the appeal when it heard it today, citing the three judges’ majority ruling.
Oshala Herath, a civil activist, filed a writ case contesting the citizenship and eligibility of State Minister of Tourism Diana Gamage to serve in Congress.
