Five liquor manufacturing enterprises have had their licences terminated for nonpayment of taxes, according to sources on Thursday, November 2.
As a result, the source stated that the distillery licences of W M Mendis & Co Ltd, Wayamba Distilleries, Finnland Distilleries Corporation (Pvt) Ltd, Synergy Distilleries (Pvt) Ltd, and Randenigala Distilleries Lanka (Pvt) Ltd were suspended.
