President Ranil Wickremesinghe told the Parliament today (13), during the presentation of the 2024 budget, that Rs. 02 billion would be set up for the fundamental work of building the Hingurakgoda International Airport.
This decision was made with the knowledge that, despite lengthy negotiations on a variety of levels, building on the projected airport has not yet begun, according to Wickremesinghe.
