Appeal Court Resigning from the hearing of the motion submitted by the Minister of Sports to revoke the stay order against the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Interim Committee is President Judge Nissanka Bandula Karunaratne’s decision.
As a result, Justice Karunratne withdrew from the pertinent hearing due to the complaints that he has been receiving lately from Members of Parliament, other Cabinet Ministers, and the Minister herself.
When the motion was called before the Appellate Court bench, which was made up of Judge Vikum Kaluarachchi and Justice Karunaratne, he said thus.
It was also determined to consider the motion before an Appeals Court bench that had not yet been formed.
