A special traffic plan has been implemented for the Independence Day Ceremony in Colombo.
The section of Galle Road from Kollupitiya Junction to Galle Face and Ceramic Junction to Galle Face will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. between January 29 and February 02, and from 2:00 p.m. on February 03 until the Independence ceremony concludes on February 04. The traffic restrictions aim to facilitate the smooth conduct of Independence Day events.
