US restaurant chain Hard Rock Cafe is set to debut in Sri Lanka, partnering with Abans to open at Colombo City Centre (CCC) in the second half of 2025.
The franchise deal began four months ago, with CCC chosen over other locations. Targeting both locals and tourists, Hard Rock Cafe joins other major US-based brands in Colombo including major brands like Pizza Hut, KFC and Burger King, further expanding the city’s international dining scene. As a growing global chain, Hard Rock Cafe is steadily expanding across South Asia, with branches in major cities in India.
New things with Hard Rock is they serve liquor, have live music bands and bring much more experience to Sri Lanka like other outlets in developed countries.
