Authorities at the University of Ruhuna have instructed second- and third-year students of the Faculty of Agriculture to vacate the premises immediately until further notice, following a clash between two student groups.
The university administration issued the directive as a precautionary measure to restore order and ensure campus safety.
Investigations are underway into the cause of the altercation, while academic activities at the faculty have been temporarily suspended.
