Opposition MP Ravi Karunanayake stated in Parliament today (19) that former President Ranil Wickremesinghe has undergone surgery in Singapore.
Speaking during the debate on regulations under the Port City Commission Act, Karunanayake said the procedure was successful and extended his wishes for a speedy recovery.
No further details regarding the nature of the surgery were disclosed.
