US Secretary of State Blinken said they will oppose illegal Jewish settlements and occupation in the occupied West Bank and evaluate the government to be formed under Benjamin Netanyahu’s premiership according to its actions.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken made a speech at the annual conference of the left-wing, pro-Israel human rights organization J Street in Washington, the capital of the USA.
Stating that the US will evaluate the Netanyahu government according to its actions, not its far-right structure, Blinken said, “The two-state solution, including the expansion of (Jewish) Settlements, the occupation of the West Bank, the deterioration of the historical status quo of holy places, the destruction of houses, evacuation, incitement to violence. We will oppose any action that will undermine it.” in his statement.
