Sun Weidong, the People’s Republic of China’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, called President Ranil Wickremesinghe as a courtesy.
Officials from both countries attended the meeting, which was held at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (May 30), according to the President’s Media Division (PMD).
Vice Minister Sun Weidong reaffirmed China’s unwavering support for Sri Lanka’s continued economic recovery throughout the meetings. According to the PMD, the President conveyed his deep gratitude to China for its consistent support at this crucial time.
