The management, board of governors, teaching staff, students, and parents of Dharul Qur’an Libara Imil Iman Madrasa proudly commemorated 25 years of its distinguished history and dedicated service by celebrating its Silver Jubilee in a grand manner on Sunday, 12 April 2026, at the main hall of the BMICH, Colombo.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest and keynote speaker, Ash-Sheikh Ustadh A.C. Agar Muhammad (Director of Jamia Naleemiyya Educational Institute). Among the distinguished guests in attendance were Ash-Sheikh Arkam Nooramit (General Secretary of All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama), Ash-Sheikh Dr. Makhdoom (Madani), and Ash-Sheikh Al-Qari Al-Mujaz Fawaz bin Falal (Director of Markaz Al-Iqra Qur’an Studies Institute).
The occasion also witnessed the presence of a large gathering of eminent personalities, including Islamic scholars (Ulama), intellectuals, Qur’an reciters, and masjid administrative leaders.
The celebration was further enriched with a series of special programmes, including cultural performances by madrasa students, an introduction to the madrasa curriculum, the launch of a newly developed official website for the madrasa, as well as prize distribution and award presentation ceremonies.
