The Paddy Marketing Board (PMB) Chairman stated that it has been discovered that around 700,000 kilogrammes of paddy stocks—worth between Rs. 65 and Rs. 70 million—were missing from two government-owned paddy stores in Kurunegala.
He also disclosed that two officers had been placed under arrest in relation to the event.
