The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) is considering four individuals as potential candidates for the next Presidential Election, SLPP General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam said.
Addressing the media, MP Kariyawasam said that, however, the party is yet to make a final decision on its Presidential candidate.
He further revealed that prominent Sri Lankan businessman Dhammika Perera was among the list of candidates being considered at present.
MP Kariyawasam said that the party would be represented by the most suitable candidate, adding that the SLPP was taking all measures to show a strong contest in the Presidential Election.
