Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has held a meeting with Tamil and Muslim parliamentarians representing the opposition at the Opposition Leader’s Office in Parliament.
The discussions focused on social, economic and development-related issues affecting communities in the Northern and Eastern provinces, as well as other regional concerns impacting their day-to-day lives.
The MPs also discussed measures to raise these issues more extensively in Parliament and secure the necessary interventions to address them.
Among those who attended the meeting were M.L.M. Hizbullah, Rauff Hakeem, Ramanathan Archchuna, Kader Masthan, Shanakiyan Rasamanickam and Mano Ganesan, along with several other opposition MPs.
