Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa appeared before the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) today (11) to provide a statement in connection with an ongoing investigation into the controversial MIG aircraft deal.
Rajapaksa arrived at the FCID this morning as investigators continued their inquiry into the transaction involving the procurement of MIG aircraft.
Police are recording his statement as part of the investigation into the alleged financial irregularities surrounding the deal.
