All schools in the Nuwara Eliya and Hatton Education Zones will remain closed today due to prevailing adverse weather conditions, the Central Province Education Secretary announced.
The Secretary said education authorities in other education zones across the Central Province have been given the authority to decide whether schools in their respective areas should remain open, based on local weather conditions.
Parents and students are advised to follow announcements issued by the relevant education authorities regarding school operations.
