Litro Gas Lanka has announced plans to distribute 350,000 domestic gas cylinders across Sri Lanka over the next three days to ensure an uninterrupted supply to consumers.
According to the state newspaper Dinamina, a vessel named CORINTHIAN, carrying 3,900 metric tonnes of gas, arrived in Sri Lanka on October 22. Unloading operations began that afternoon.
The company said the arrival of the shipment would enable it to continue distributing gas cylinders islandwide without interruption, allowing consumers to purchase gas as usual.
Litro Gas Lanka also assured the public that domestic gas supplies were being maintained at normal levels across the country.
In view of the continued distribution, the company urged consumers to refrain from unnecessarily stockpiling gas cylinders, assuring them that supplies would continue as usual.
