Lanka IOC and Sinopec have announced a Rs. 20 per litre increase in the price of 95 Octane petrol, effective from midnight today.

Following the latest revision, the price of 95 Octane petrol at both companies will increase from Rs. 495 to Rs. 515 per litre.

With this adjustment, motorists purchasing 95 Octane petrol from Lanka IOC and Sinopec will pay Rs. 25 more per litre compared to the price charged by the state-owned Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco).

Ceypetco currently sells 95 Octane petrol at Rs. 490 per litre, following a Rs. 15 per litre price increase implemented earlier this month.

Lanka IOC and Sinopec had previously raised the price of 95 Octane petrol by Rs. 20 per litre in late October, bringing it to Rs. 495.
