In Russia, some restrictions on foreign currency transactions have been imposed.

By decree signed by Russian President Putin, Russian citizens are prohibited from making foreign loans in foreign currency and depositing foreign currency in bank accounts abroad.

The order detailing the steps relating to the sanctions against Russia was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to a statement released by the Kremlin.

Pointing out that the decree imposes an obligation to sell foreign currency to exporting Russian companies, the statement said, “Companies engaged in international trade are obliged to sell 80 percent of their foreign currency income at authorized banks.” statement was included.
