A total of 2,030 dengue patients were found during the second week of January 2023.
According to the National Dengue Control Unit, dengue cases were registered from January 9 to January 15, 2023.
417 dengue patients were detected in the Gampaha district, 257 in the Puttalam district, 123 in the Kalutara district, 107 in the Kalmunai district, and 103 in the Jaffna district.
The National Dengue Control Unit further said that a total of 4,172 dengue patients have been reported so far this year.
