A special discussion was held yesterday with a delegation including a number of foreign ambassadors representing 12 countries and Leaders of political parties of the Opposition chaired by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa.
Its primary objective was to explain the current situation in Sri Lanka and the matters including the need to protect democracy in Sri Lanka and, the requirements such as safeguarding the Constitution and conducting local government election etc. were takin into particular consideration at this meeting.
Hon. Sajith Premadasa also asked the ambassadors to continue to provide international support for construction of Sri Lanka.
