In response to Litro Company’s recent move to lower the cost of a 12.5 kg gas cylinder starting at midnight today, LAUGFS Gas Company today also declared that it would lower its prices.
As a result, it is stated that this price cut is anticipated to go into effect at midnight today. (4).
The cost of the 2.3 kg and 5 kg canisters will also decrease along with the price drop.
The plan to award retail licenses to Shell PLC’s joint venture partners Sinopec of China, United Petroleum of Australia, and RM Parks Inc. of the United States received approval from the Cabinet of Ministers last week.
Following the pertinent procurement committees’ approval and recommendations to grant the three companies retail operating licenses in Sri Lanka, the Cabinet offered its seal of approval.
