On Friday, May 19, the largest travel and tourist fair in Sri Lanka, Sancharaka Udawa, was opened by Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena at the BMICH.
On a single platform, the event brought together experts and industry leaders. The premier looked around the display and stopped by the Classic Travel booth as well.
After a three-year break, the event is being held by the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO).
The Sancharaka Udawa 2023 is held at the BMICH on May 19 and 20, and it is open from 8 am to 10 pm each day. 250 exhibitors will be present at the event, which also allows for stakeholder interaction with government officials.
