A unexpected fire that started inside a restaurant in Galaha’s Deltota neighborhood resulted in four injuries.
The cooks were cooking inside the eatery when the fire started, according to the police.
The four people, who work for the restaurant, suffered injuries as a result of their efforts to put out the flames.
One of them was later sent to the Kandy Teaching Hospital for additional treatment after being hospitalized to the Deltota Base Hospital.
But according to hospital sources, the injured are not in a life-threatening situation.
Police believe that a gas leak started the fire.
